Our pit masters are award winners in both barbeque and chili cooking competitions throughout the east coast. Red and Tiny are no strangers to the competition circuit or in the world of catering.

Red Todd is a Grand Champion in both barbeque and chili contests. He is also a cookbook author and is internationally known as a monthly columnist for the National Barbecue News. He does product reviews for companies around the world and publishes them in the Kansas City Barbecue Society’s monthly newspaper called the “BullSheet”.

Josh "Tiny" Shade is an award winning pit master who has won awards from New York to Southern Georgia. Catering and vending was a natural progression for Tiny and his wife Kristal with more and more exposure to the locals and their taste for real slow smoked barbeque.
